How good is the PC as a replacement to a games console?
I am not considering purchasing a games console as I think the PC is good enough for gaming, but I would like to hear the pros and cons, thank you for your help.

Most people prefer the more precise controls, and like the fact that you can expand/mod/build off most of the games. And depending on your computer, you can achieve a higher level of graphics. Im both a console and a PC gamer, and i really enjoy both. Console games are usually more restricted, and 99% of the time the servers are provided for you. Console gaming, as far as online goes, is a bit more linear. Some people prefer this thou, seeing as how they just want to get to the game. Others like the fact that with a PC you can have your own private games, servers, and you can alter the game itself.
