What are some Star Wars books focusing on the clones?
I'm sick of jedi this and jedi that. Are there any Star Wars books mainly about the clones? I already read the Star Wars: Republic Commandos series by Karen Traviss and will read the future books. Any others out there?
I already read Order 66. It's the 4th book of the series.
Kind of hard to get away from the "Jedi this and Jedi that" when it's pretty much the main story line for the entire story but I can see your point ... they are pushing that pretty hard right now.
"Xeno..." recommends one of the best Clone Wars novels and so do I ... "The Cestus Deception" is a incredible look into the way the clones see themselves. The "Courscant Nights" Trilogy is a decent read. Have you read any of the "Tales" books? Lots of short stories about minor and major characters in the SW universe. If you really want to get out there find the Lando Adventures trilogy ... a little off beat but a decent read. Then you have the two Han Solo trilogies out there.
One thing to add to this ... on her blog last week Karen Traviss said that she will not be writing any more Star Wars books. Interviews with some of the other SW EU authors have reviled her to be very self centered, not a team player, and someone who gets ticked off if somebody else uses "her" characters in a story. She's a great author and her view of the Mando culture is great but her ego and arrogance is going to take a lot of great stories away from the fans ... she should be ashamed of herself.
