How can I buy real feel super skin material. Not sex toys Just a 12" block of it?
I know where you're coming from, pal. Don't worry, I've got you covered. Now, there isn't really a synthetic compound that feels like human flesh, per se, but there are ways of getting that 12" cube of soft, warm, human-like skin.
First, you'll want to make some ballistics gel (it has a consistency very similar to that of human flesh). I recommend Knox Gelatin, a brand that you can buy over at your local grocery store. You'll want to mix the gelatin powder with water (measurements should be on the box) and refrigerate the resulting concoction.
Once the powder has been given enough time to be fully saturated by the water, you'll have to remove it from the fridge, and heat it on the stove top, over a pan of water, until it melts.
Once everything has melted (Be sure not to overheat the gelatin, though!), you'll want to pour your mix into a mold. Seeing as you want a cube shape, I recommend fabricating your own with some plywood and plastic liner (for the inside of your box). Also, be sure to lube down the inside of your mold BEFORE pouring the gelatin mix into it; it'll be easier to remove once the cube of gel has solidified.
As for the skin-like texture, you'll need some aldehyde-tanned leather (or wet-white leather). This is the some of the softest leather that I know of. You can usually find some at swanky craft stores or online. Of course, suede, slink, and sheep leather are also fine substitutes.
Seeing as you want a 12" cube, you'll need at least 72 square inches of leather; though, I recommend you buy more. From here, you'll want to cut out a lower-case 't' shape that is about 49" tall and 37" wide. Fold that around your cube of ballistics gel and sew on (like a pillow).
Now, to make sure that your leather maintains that soft, human skin-ish feeling, you'll want to apply lotion to it on a weekly basis. Occasionally patting it down with baby powder is also recommended. If the cube should get dirty, DO NOT put it into the washing machine or bathtub. Simply wipe the dirtied area with a warm, damp rag.
I hope this was helpful. I do this kind of stuff all the time, so I know a thing or two about making cubes of realistic feeling human skin. When my friends walk into my apartment and see my living room completely furnished with dozens of various-sized flubes (flesh cubes), they always ask for one of their own.
